Summary

This secluded cottage nestles in its own grounds within a peaceful hamlet in the foothills of Mont Ventoux, 5 minutes drive from Malaucene, which, each Wednesday, hosts its own street market, typical of Provence. The stylishly furnished accommodation comprises a large living room with satellite TV, DVD & Hi-fi , a separate dining room, good size well equipped kitchen (washing machine, dishwasher, microwave etc), three bedrooms – one double with en-suite shower room, and two twin rooms. There is also a large family bathroom with bath and shower. Bed linen and towels are provided. There is a good sized garden containing lawns, flower beds and a variety of fruit trees including apricots and cherries. A rear terrace, with a pretty wrought iron surround, is attached to the house. In the garden is a 10m by 5m private swimming pool with spacious surrounding patios and a pavilion with summer kitchen, sitting area and barbecue

There is one double bedroom downstairs with en-suite shower room and there are two twin rooms upstairs.

There is a large family bathroom with bath and shower over, and there is an en-suite shower room attched to the downstairs double bedroom.

Kitchen

The light bright kitchen is very well equipped for family living. It includes a hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There are plenty of utensils for cooking.

The large lounge area has seating for six people and looks out onto the spacious private garden and pool area. This area is equipped with satellite TV covering most European countries, and a CD player and MP3 docking centre..

Cleaning / Towels/linen Room Service:

The house is thoroughly cleaned before and after each rental. Renters should, though, leave the house in a basically clean and tidy condition, removing all rubbish. The beds are made up for arrival and towels are provided - a hand towel, bath towel and pool towel for each person.

Outside

There is plenty of private parking attached to the house. The large well landscaped and well maintained gardens include a 10 metre by 5 metre private pool with a large paved surround and a shower and pool house. This includes a sink, cooker, fridge and microwave oven. There is a table and chairs for eating and lounge chairs for poolside and sun-bathing.

Travel Details

The property can only be reached by car so either drive from England (the house is about 35km from the main A7 Motorway (Route de Soleil) or fly to Nimes , Marseille, or Avignon and rent a car. Nimes and Marseilles are about 1½ hours drive. Avignon is about 45 minutes drive.

Booking details

For booking please check the availabiliyt chart then email your request. A completed booking form is required and 50% of the agreed rent is payable at the time of booking. The other 50% balance of rent plus a returnable security deposit of £200 is required at least 6 weeks before the start of the holiday.

Changeover Day

Changeover day is Saturday but there is some flexibility outside of the main summer season. Arrival is from 4pm on the first day and departure is by 10am on teh last day.
